The second stage takes us from Cravegna (one of Crodo’s hamlets) to the heart of the journey: Alpe Devero. We will traverse the stunning Veia di Squetar — an ancient path with a mysterious and fascinating name — leaving behind civilisation, noise, and the rhythms of daily life for enchanted hours spent in unspoiled nature. Amidst ancient woods, teeming with rich and vibrant wildlife, we will reach the Devero plateau, passing by the ingenious hydraulic works that have made Ossola and, in particular, the Antigorio Valley the queen among Italian valleys for the production of clean, renewable energy.
